The One Where Mitch Posts A Bunch of Stuff and Ross Asks Rachel To Marry Him

The spirit of Frank Wastelayer is standing over my shoulder and speaking to me, much like Conan did to his author Robert E. Howard. He says "finish me, weakling, or I will surely cleave you in twain, or at least not pick you up from the airport, even though you will be expecting me." It shall be done.

I dropped my Heart Monster into a new "character design community" called Mojizu a while back, which the great Drawn! has since profiled. I'm still not quite sure what to make of it, but any place to discover some new interesting artists is fine by me. I've seen one or two familiar faces over there so far, but nobody I really know. And if it keeps growing like it has been, then it might become a pretty cool place to hang out.

Now that the temp well has dried up, I have nothing to do but sit at home all day and draw. Yeah!!! I'll be posting as much hand-drawn sketches as I can in the next few weeks in the hopes that you, my wonderful fake-friends, might let me know what is up to snuff. That way I can mail off as many portfolios as I can on Friday, May 19. So if you know of any company that you even slightly think might possibly look at me with some interest, I'd love it if you'd let me know by AIM or e-mail. I'm looking for any art job whatsoever, anything to break into the industry, and I'll work my ass off to prove it.

And no, I don't "just think I'm so funny." Not really. Well maybe the Jamie Farr head... haha. I laughed. Twice!

okay. where to begin. well, i like toast. i had some this morning in fact. with a little coffee that i subsequently spilled all over a project i had recently finished. luckily after i scanned it in. i bought a couple new paintbrushes today and i discovered that i had some postage stamps in my pocket when i washed my shirt rendering them virtually useless. maybe. i might be able to salvage some of them. i'm a little thirsty right now. i might go get some water. the word verification i'm going to be typing in as soon as i'm finished here will be rkuyd. that seems kind of short, but then some of them seem like entirely too many letters. seriously. if 5 is good then why do i have to type in 15 sometimes. it's crazy.

You could work for American Greetings
They called me and wanted me to move to Cleveland and become a staff artist.

I think that is how Crumb got started, it was either him or Tintoretto, I get them confused sometimes.

Seriously, I hope you find a job.
If you find two then you can give one to monkey as well- so he can quitthat weird minature golfing fetish that is taking up most of his life- now if you find three I got dibs on the third job, esoecially if there is a snack machine on the same floor.

good luck

You're cruisin' for a bruisin'...

Oh no, not the dreaded Dear Diary spambot! I heard about this on the news. And yeah, these super-long word verification things are a load. But if I turn it off then the terrorists will have already won.

Thanks brian! Yeah, American Greetings in Cleveland would be a godsend; that's one of the places I definitely have to send something. And you know wherever I end up I have to get jobs for my boyzzz. I'll try to get us adjoining stations so we can gab and take lunch together and also work out on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Angela, how dare you slip in there while I was commenting! But I guess that's what fake-friends are for.

Fake-friends are the best. Except when you get drunk and fake-make out with eachother... you say it's gonna be the fake-same but it fake-won't. It never fake-is.

In a sentence I never imagined I'd one day be typing, I really like the valentine shaped nipples.

I'll leave it at that.

You sure you wanna work for American "Grievings"? You're stuff is far superior to their shite, it would most certainly be a step down. Besides, I've heard from my friends that have worked there that they depants you on your first day and make you sing the Baywatch theme song as you run around the art director's office. On the next day they force you to use dog poop as chapstick while watching films on cannibalism and blooper clips from the Golden Girls. On the third day, they steal your soul and sell it on eBay as a "Buy It Now" auction. Do you want that???? Huh? Do ya???

Yeah, you're right...it's better than being a starving artist. I've been there before. At least they'll give you money to buy things like Pop-Tarts, Steak-Ums and toilet paper that doesn't tear your anus with every wipe. Good luck man...I think your stuff is great. You should give it a go.

PS: Wha'? No love for "Kate" Holmes up in Mudhen country? Oh, that's right, after crapping out Suri, Tom chained her to the radiator again. My bad.

what's a matter? haven't run out of bon-bons yet? couch a little too comfortable to get off of it and create? are you a man or a mouse? get up. grab a pencil and start drawing now. that's an order soldier. you owe it to yourself and you owe it too your country. and let's face it - most importantly you really kind of owe it to me.

also, trevor didn't hear his friends right - that's actually the american greetings benefits package.

yeah, so I saw your character on that site (mojizu). I go there and I'm a member but haven't put anything up yet. It's a great concept though. Cross between ebay, pictoplasma and cafepress. I guess. Anyways, good luck with the job hunt. Where are you looking at?
Great pink character BTW! Love the heart nips! heheeee....
